The pull of superheroes at the box office has never been stronger. The trend kicked off with the then-impressive debut of X-Men and was progressed by Spider-Man. Leadership in the superhero space shifted again as Batman was reinvented and a landmark sequel was delivered in the form of The Dark Knight. Now, it’s clear Marvel is the player to beat, with The Avengers currently standing as the third highest grossing film of all-time. In addition, Disney endowed each member of its team with explosive potential and brought great value to its expanse. Will the impressive draw of The Winter Soldier dampen the performance of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Days of Future Past?

Edna Purviance in 1916
Charlie Chaplin’s beautiful leading lady for 8 years 1915-1923.
She helped his tramp character evolve, in his Keystone films he was crude, vulgar and skirt chasing, with Edna by his side in later shorts and films, he became more caring, romantic, 3 dimensional, though if pushed he could scrap with the best of them.
I think in his own way Charlie realized Edna was an integral part of his early success
I HAVE THREE WORDS THAT WILL BRING JOY TO YOUR HEART:
little league quidditch
#all brooms fly like 3 feet off the ground#the bludgers are stuffed animals#keepers often get distracted by clouds#the seekers are better at playing tag than catching the snitch#games are over when it’s naptime
I have never read something so precious in my life.
